SBC Short Block Kit Assembly Upgrade

To be perfectly clear, this ad is NOT for the stand-alone purchase of this item. This is an upgrade only available to customers that are buying a short block kit in the same cart as this upgrade.

The assembly of this kit includes, balancing the rotating assembly, setting the correct clearances on the rod and main bearings, file fitting the rings, check and size the rods on our Sunen machine, cutting the rods for cam clearance if needed, installing the complete rotating assembly, damper and flexplate included. Our block prep package is included with this and includes the following: deburring the lifter valley, honing the lifter bores, chamfering the cylinders and all the head bolt holes, washing the block thoroughly in our new industrial block washing machine, installing Dart premium cam bearings, and installing oil filter adapter and painting the block with low gloss black paint. Custom colors are available at an additional cost. The detail in assembling the short block is far more extensive than you would imagine it to be. What we have mentioned above are only the highlights of this procedure.
