SBC/BBC – UPGRADE TO 4340 FORGED CRANK CRANKSHAFT. NOT FOR OUTRIGHT PURCHASE

Do not purchase this item unless you are buying one of our rotating assemblies, short block kits, or engines.

This is an upgrade for those that have purchased a rotating assembly, short block kit, or engine from our other listings.

For 350, 377, 383, 406 engines with 2pc rear main seals and with 350 size mains, you will receive a Manley Pro Series 4340 forged crank. For those running any of the above sized engines with that have a 1pc rear main seal or with 400 mains, you will receive a Scat or Eagle crank depending on availability. For those building a 454, 496,540,555 engine with a 2pc rear main seal, you will receive a Manley Pro Series crank. Those using a BBC block with a 1pc rear main seal will receive a Scat or Eagle forged crank. Manley doe’s not offer any 1pc rms cranks for sbc or bbc engines, nor do they offer a crank for sbc engines with 400 size mains.

The forged crank has a rating of 800+ HP. This is the ultimate upgrade for those wanting to run hard. Nos, blowers, turbos, are not an issue with this crank. Even without such power adders, this Crank offers great protection under the most severe conditions. This upgrade also comes with the high Performance King bearings. Should you decide to run power adders in the future, this would be essential. The fatigue life of the 4340 crank over the cast nodular is also greatly extended.
